Are you tired of the same old, same old?
Do you find yourself reluctant to create because the projects are beginning to look alike?
Do you want to shake up and stir your creative genius?
If you answered "yes" to one or all of these questions, have I got the Workshop to Go for you!
Enter "Spool Stories", the funky, dimensional, uber creative way to tell your stories.
Don't you just love it?
The project starts with a large spool and 12 mini quilts, each artfully created to showcase your photos, written stories and fun embellishments.
I know that this project will make you grin! That's what it did for me...and for the women who created it at one of the Heirloom Event/Workshops last year.
I have to share a story with you. Several weeks before the event, I was meeting a friend for lunch. I happened to bring the spool with me to share with her...and while we were waiting for our food, another friend of ours showed up to pick up her lunch. I unwrapped the project and let my two friends see what we were making...and, as they oooohed and aaaaahed over the project, I happened to notice the reaction of the people at the table right next to us.
"Mom", said the younger woman, poking at the other woman at the table. "Would you look at that? She's got pictures wrapped around a big spool. That is so cool". "Mom" replied, "Wow, that is cool. Wonder how she made it?"
That interchange made me grin. I very seldom show my projects to people outside of the creative circle and it was really gratifying to hear the feedback from people who were total strangers.
Well, maybe you are like the "Mom" in the story...you think that it's cool, and you wonder how I made it. Now is the time to find out.
For a limited time, I'm offering the instructional materials and photos of this project in the form of a downloadable "Workshop to Go". Not only will you learn how I made it, but I will share with you manufacturer information for the products I used, ideas for substitutions, sources for craft items, techniques used and, in this case, other ways that you can display your mini art quilts.
This is a wonderful opportunity to expose your creative genius to something new and different, and end up with a fabulous project to display.
Here's how it works. At the bottom of this post, there's a PayPal button to purchase the Workshop to Go. Simply click on the "Buy Now" button and PayPal will walk you through the order process. I will then be notified of your order and will send you an email with the access information to the private site. (I'm usually pretty good about getting the info out pretty quickly but if you could give me up to 48 hours to respond, that would be much appreciated. If you don't hear from me by then, please let me know and I'll be sure to take care of you :).) After you access the private site, you can download the instructions and save them to your computer, and/or print them out.
The beauty of downloadable workshops is that you can create when you are ready. You can take the time you need to gather materials and plan your theme. You can use things in your stash, or you can purchase specific items that will suit your project. There's an amazing amount of flexibility in creating when and where you want...and it will definitely stimulate your creativity and take you out of the "same old, same old" pattern.
I'm offering instructions for this fabulous Heirloom Collection project for just $19.87 and they are available for download only until April 5th.
What are you waiting for? Take a walk on the wild side and start your creative adventure by clicking on the button below. And, get ready to hear "Would you look at that? She's got pictures wrapped around a big spool. That is so cool!"
Looking forward to seeing your creations (and thanks for your order)!
From my studio to yours,
